CGL High Pressure Laminati System (HPL)

CGL's High Pressure Laminati system is a ventilated façade which forms the external aesthetic element of a multi-layer wall. The panels are supported by the CS1 extruded aluminium grid which offers variety of zone widths and excellent adjustability. The system protects the structural backing wall against water, wind, and solar damage.

The Board is 8mm as standard but can be supplied up to 12mm thick. The board is made up of layers of cellulose fibres impregnated with thermosetting phenolic resins with surface layers of decorative paper impregnated with thermosetting resins bonded together by high pressure with special protection against inclement weather. The Board is manufactured to EN 438:2005 part 6 and has a British Board of Agrement certificate number 96/3240.

CGL High Pressure Laminati has many finishes including solid colours, silvers, metal, wood and concrete. The material is mechanically sturdy, does not splinter, is corrosive resistant, anti-static, resistant to termites, easy to clean and has excellent fire resistance.
