Piccadilly
3 Project, Manchester
CGL
has recently been awarded the contract to supply 3000m2 of brass rainscreen
cladding system to Red Architectural for the Piccadilly 3 project in
Manchester . This material, manufactured in sheet format by KME, weathers
from a golden finish to a dull brass sheen. The panels will require
zero maintenance as they weather naturally to a consistent attractive
finish. A substantial section of the works will be supplied in offsite,
unitised format, including the factory application of the panels to
the unitised sections. Programme commences in February 2007 and this
will be the first substantial use of this material in the UK.
